Cultures of different countries, what things are Universal

Go on just try it and see what happens :)

Wait what are you talking about?

Manners are important.

At one point in all of our individual lives, we have heard that statement.

It holds even more meaning than you ever thought.

I have travelled most of the world and a few "English Language" words
do not seem to need translating... they are..."PLEASE and THANK YOU"

Yes, I know what you are going to say.
Please and Thank you, do have translations in most languages.

However! What may surprise you is that most non-English speaking
country do filter certain English words into their population via some form of media
with "Please and Thank you" being two of the more popular words/phrases.

So remember, the lessons which you learnt growing up...

Hopefully by now most readers have figured out that I
am from Trinidad in the Caribbean, to be more accurate.
Its Trinidad & Tobago, 2 islands which make up the
Republic Nation.

What do you think of when you hear the word Brazil?

Yes, me too...

Gol Airlines.

The price for these airline tickets are competitive.
Travels no longer have to fly to Miami the connect, this results
in a much shorter time to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Check out the site and feel free to leave me a comment.

What is the most popular food to order ?

This is an easy one...the answer is so obvious...

Yes...the infamous burger and fries.
And the best place thus far is...

So one day I was just walking around Manhattan, NYC and saw this line
of people. For what ? Food... really...okay so I waited my turn.
It was worth the wait.
I ordered a burger and fries for my lunch and without hesitation placed my
dinner to go order which was their signature Steak!

Do you agree?

Best time to buy a plane ticket

How to get the best price for a plane ticket?

Ok...so I am not going to spend time on a long explanation, but what I will say is that;
all airlines have an intricate model for ticket pricing.

The rule of thumb is "try to book in advance" this usually helps in getting the cheapest
ticket price.

If you have flexible travel dates...choose weekdays instead of weekends.
There are many reasons for this; 1) Airline flights are usually full on the weekends,
thus less chance of getting a free seat next to you.
2) There is actually a price difference, it cost less to travel during the week than on
the weekends. "however, the marketing department monitors passenger trends
and sometimes the price is more"

No travel visa required

Sometimes it's good to remind people of certain things.

Just a few short months ago Trinidad & Tobago citizens
required travel visas for certain European countries.

This travel restriction has now official been removed.

I trust this blog will encourage you to visit places in Europe.

Be brave, try something new.

I promise you, there is something for everyone in the EU.

Let me know if you agree :)

Shhh...this is a Secret

Italian Secret

Shhh...

This was not a recent trip, but it was a sight for the eyes, the artistic eye.

Maybe a pic may help?

I think it looks like fire...what is your impression?

Still not sure, where is this place?

Ok...one more....

Hmmm... doesn't this pic remind you of a certain major cartoon movie :)
But this place had it first.

Ok...so it's not ice...It's GLASS

I knew you would guess right !

WELCOME TO MURANO, ITALY !

I think you will find this humble place, simply peaceful & charming.

To get to the island of Murano, you will have to take a water boat (taxi)
from the main land; Venice, Italy.
budget for approx. $25 US Dollars for the all day round trip travel fare.
It docks onto the island where can spend the day anyway you want, my tip
just go walk around and explore this unique place.

Enjoy :)

Crossing times zones...oh boy yawn...zzz

Crossing the pond.

Think happy thoughts...it will all be over soon.
Try and relax...
Have a complementary drink or two or three...
I think it's going to be an interesting morning
Hope I can remember...

Oh gees, what happened?
For most people, visiting new places is an incredible experience.
Getting there is a whole other story.

So, after ten (10) hours flying time, Trinidad to Gatwick.
I find myself in...

yet another hotel.

Yes this is my life, I live out of a suitcase. Its not a bad thing.
As a matter of fact, it forces me to plan ahead.

Ok, so Trinidad to Gatwick. I have left the Caribbean,
yet I long to  head down to the Brighton Pier,

walk along a Beach with stones instead of sand,

and visit some of the eccentric shops jotted throughout the seaside town.
